Take the kids for night out at the Mall of Georgia for a free family fun and entertainment. Start the evening with live music from local band at 6:30pm and watch family-friendly movie under the stars at 8:30pm.

This Saturday the local band performing is Spankstein. The movie for a great night out is The Blind Side.

Place: Mall of Georgia at the Village, Buford

Tips:

- Bring your lawn chairs, blanket, cooler and snack. But no alcoholic beverage
- Don’t forget the bug repellent for kiddos and yourself

Another fun night under the stars with outdoor movie in the park is a great free family-friendly thing to do this Summer.

The Georgia Movie in the Park is a program sponsored by Southern Outdoor Cinema. They provide free movie nights outdoor, under the clear sky for Atlanta and surrounding cities residents.

 

This week for the residents of Johns Creek and North Fulton area you can enjoy Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs movie in the park with your kids at Newtown Park in Johns Creek. It’s not just a movie. Head there early to enjoy family fun activities by local sponsors.

Place: Newtown Park, 3150 Old Alabama Road, Alpharetta, GA

1. Movie: Screen on the Green – National Treasure @Piedmont Park

Moviegoers are welcome to bring picnic baskets, food, alcoholic beverages, but no glass containers can be brought into Piedmont Park. In consideration of others, SCREEN ON THE GREEN attendees are asked to leave pets at home.  Umbrellas, high-backed chairs and grills are strictly prohibited.
