2012 Summer Kid Show Series at Georgia Theatre Company for kids of all ages. Tuesday & Thursday mornings during the Summer. Two fun films will show on Tuesday and Thursday of the week they are scheduled. Doors open at 9:15am. Films start promptly at 10am. Tickets are available for purchase at the Theatre Box Office on the day of the show only. Seating is limited on a first-come, first-served basis. Regal Cinemas: Summer Movie Express 2012

Moviegoers of all ages can climb aboard the Summer Movie Express to enjoy a great selection of films. During this 9-week festival, participating Regal Cinemas, United Artists and Edwards Theatres will offer selected G or PG rated movies for only a dollar on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings at 10:00. Lawrenceville: Moonlight & Music Concert Series

Enjoy the warm summer evenings at the outdoor “Moonlight & Music” Concert Series. Each show offers a various style of music including Motown, acoustic singer/songwriter, blues, Bluegrass, and a Beatles tribute! Concerts will be held on the fourth Friday of each month from May – September.

The concerts are FREE outdoor lawn events but reserved tables for six can be rented beginning at $65+ by contacting the Lawrenceville Visitors Center at 678.226.2639. In a effort to continue the Moonlight & Music Concert Series as Lawrenceville’s (and even Gwinnett’s) own mini-Chastain Park, attendees are encouraged to bring a picnic dinner or visit one of the restaurants on the downtown square for catering or take-out packages. The lawn and table seating are available starting at 6:30 p.m.

A new summer series of Georgia Movies in the Park™ kicks off in Milton, GA on June 2, 2012 at Northwestern Middle School. The free family festival and outdoor movie event will run monthly on June 2, July 7 and August 4.

Families in Milton, GA will be able to enjoy a festival chock full of free children’s activities before the outdoor movie begins at sundown. This fun free kid clinic is perfect for a bonding time for daddy (or mommy) and little ones. Lowe’s has bi-weekly Build and Grow Clinic for kids. It’s a great free family-friendly thing to do with your kids on Saturday morning. The store provides all the material, tools and event cute little apron for all the kids. With parents help, kids will enjoy learning a little bit of building and feel so proud of their product.

This weekend kids will be building Picture Frame Planter. Spring has sprung! Your child will love building the Picture Frame Planter and personalizing it with photos. Plant something together!

Another cool thing about this program is that after each project kids will be rewarded with certificate and patch. Each patch is uniquely designed for that week project. It’s a great way to get kids excited. Not that building their own stuff isn’t excited enough.
